History Wins the Future

The Trackpads Armor Archive expands the original tank collection into a broader reference to armored warfare. The archive contains 548 profiles: the original 342-profile collection plus 206 additional infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, reconnaissance vehicles, tank destroyers and assault guns, self-propelled artillery systems, and armored air-defense vehicles.

One archive, distinct battlefield roles

The archive records mission, development lineage, and family relationships separately. Shared chassis ancestry does not erase battlefield role: an infantry fighting vehicle, personnel carrier, reconnaissance vehicle, direct-fire vehicle, artillery system, or air-defense vehicle remains classified by what it was designed to do.

Images and sources

Profiles use verified reusable imagery where an exact vehicle image could be sourced responsibly. When an exact image could not be verified, the archive leaves the profile unillustrated rather than substituting a misleading vehicle. Image credits and source links are retained with the relevant profile.
